Ans: In Jammu region, main cereal crops are wheat, maize, and rice. Subtropical fruits include orange, lemon, litchi, fig, guava, pomegranate, grapes, and mangoes.Kashmir's main crops include rice, corn, wheat, pulses,fruits and vegetables. Saffron is the cash crop grown in the Karewas of the Kashmir Valley.

ii. Give a list of temperate fruits of Kashmir?

Ans: In Kashmir, the important temperate fruits that are raised include apple, peaches, pear, plums, cherries, apricot, strawberries, saffron, almond, walnut, and banafisha.

iii. Mention the local names of Jammu Plains?

Ans: Jammu plains are an extension of Punjab plains, also known as Anderwah and Bajwat locally.

iv. Name the major power projects in Jammu and Kashmir?

Ans: The major power projects in Jammu are Baglihar, Dul Hasti, and Salal, while in Kashmir, we have Uri-I, Uri-II, and Kishanganga
